目的

其目的是建立概念模型， 採實體技術研究，分離實體根據:

ISBDs 國際標準書目著錄

GSARE 主題規範與參照款目指南

UNIMARC 手冊

GARE 規範與參照款目指南，

分出實體、屬性、關係。

研究涉及文字、音樂、地圖、視聽、圖型和立體資料， 讀者(用戶)包括讀者、學生、研究人員、圖書館工作人員、出版者、發行者、零售商、信息經紀人、知識管理者。
